  1. Thank you so much, Dr. Dray! I have my first ever appointment with a psychiatrist tomorrow. Watching your videos always helped me in my darkest moments. I appreciate your humor, knowledge, dedication, and no-nonsense approach to all things skin care. Caring about my skin was and is a huge part of taking better care of myself. Sometimes my skincare routine, however minimal, is the only yconstant in an otherwise deeply lonely, chaotic, depressed day.

  2. I have a skin picking disorder since my early teens. It has gotten better with age, but it’s such a hard habit to break…I also used to pick and bite the skin near my nails till they were bloody and hurt. Having artificial nails at least helped with that issue. I avoid magnifying mirrors and dim the light in the bathroom whenever I can, so I don’t start searching for imperfections. Also, wearing a foundation or a tinted sunscreen helps me to keep my hands out of my face during the day. Just a few tips for my fellow skin-pickers.

  3. You blow me away, Dr. Dray. We all want to look our best, and here you are teaching us that ultimately it’s our health that most affects our “beauty.” And, thank you for being so frank and helpful about all aspects of health “beneath” our skin. You have such a clear and nonjudgemental way of imparting such important information. It’s so good to hear a physician focusing on health in such a holistic way.
