What going on strike ultimately amounts to is, ‘If I don’t get my own way, I will start sabotaging society until my demands are met.’ When people treat me like that, my immediate action is to try and work out a way of not needing those people, so that in future when they start engaging in that behaviour I can just tell them to go ahead and destroy themselves and I will not be affected.

    1. @B Q Well, if they keep going on strike, more and more people will look to private healthcare because at least the employees can be trusted not to randomly stop working. That is the truth of it. And eventually, once enough people have done that, voters will demand an end to public healthcare if most of them aren’t using it, and there goes the NHS. Strikers, unintentionally, destroy their own workplaces.
