  1. Rachel, I so admire your honesty & being relatable! It’s refreshing in a world where everyone is caught up in appearances (i.e. not discussing true feelings, such as burnout). I’m a creative, as well, & I completely understand your describing the vulnerability we experience when we share anything we’ve created with the world. Thank you for being awesome! 💗

  2. As a fellow creative who runs her own business, I completely understand the burnout! The old saying “if you love your job, you’ll never work a day in your life” really does make people think that we are happy to just work ALL THE TIME. And when you complain about being too busy or never having time for yourself, they scoff. It’s not like I’m not appreciative of being able to do something creative, Linda, but just because I love my job doesn’t mean I don’t want a work/life separation (and I’m allowed to complain about that even tho I still love my work!) Then when you combine all that with the unpredictability of running a creative business, where you have people relying on you or expecting you to impress them more and more each time you create something, you end up losing your mind. In fact, just the other day as I was catching up with your recent large project, I did wonder how much longer you could continue putting out weekly content. I kinda hoped you would cut yourself more slack, and my wish was granted! Don’t worry, I’ve been with you for 5 years, so you’re not getting rid of me that easily! 😂I’ll be one of the first to subscribe to your Patreon, trust and believe!

    1. *”if you love your job, you’ll never work a day in your life” really does make people think that we are happy to just work ALL THE TIME* Some people do. Some people, their job is their vocation, and they’re literally never off the clock. No matter how much time it takes out of their lives, they’re still happy to do it. Contrast that with the majority of people who have just as strong a passion for their art or hobbies or sports, but have to spend the majority of their time doing a job they don’t like to pay the bills, a job that has nothing to do with their passions, AND then spending time with family and friends and household duties all before they can even get to doing what they love.

  3. You have no idea how excited I am to be able to support you on patreon, you are without a doubt my favorite youtuber and I can’t wait for February 1st now!! Im really glad that you’ll be taking care of yourself and taking more time and everything because I really do love you and want you to do what you need to be happy <3 im so happy to be able to spend yet another year being a part of the chaotic whimsy 🥰

  4. Your mental health is more important than your videos. We are going to be here no matter what. I LOVE your videos, and I love when you’re happy with your work. You’re an inspiration and I’m so excited for this year and what you have planned….and TAKE MY MONEY! I’m excited we can support your projects this way! We are grateful for you and what you share with us. Love you!

  5. You deserve Patreon lady. Once-a-week content is actually a lot of content for the types of projects that you do. I really have no idea how you have done it for so long. I’m given MONTHs for my projects and I feel like it’s too much sometimes. With the stupid ways that add content works on Youtube, and the dumb algorithm Patreon is the best way at least for us viewers to ensure that you can do what you do without stress.
